University Of Pennsylvania Has A New Policy That Could Take Trump’s Degree Away For Allegedly Cheating On SATs

It should be obvious that Trump isn't smart enough to have passed his SATs. Revoke his degree.

Donald Trump might lose that Wharton business school degree that he’s always bragging about if the University of Pennsylvania determines he obtained it dishonestly.

Trump’s niece Mary Trump alleges in her new book that her uncle Donald paid a friend to take his SATs for him so he could get into the prestigious institution.

“To hedge his bets he enlisted Joe Shapiro, a smart kid with a reputation for being a good test taker, to take his SATs for him,” Mary wrote. “That was much easier to pull off in the days before photo IDs and computerized records. Donald, who never lacked for funds, paid his buddy well.”

Unfortunately, Shapiro passed away in 1999 after a battle with cancer, so he can’t confirm or deny Mary Trump’s claim. But the university could still conduct an investigation.

Depending on the results of that probe, the school could revoke Trump’s degree — especially since new rules have been instituted in the wake of the nationwide cheating scandal that involved wealthy parents paying others to get their kids into the best schools.

According to the Daily Pennsylvanian:

Penn’s new policy details the investigation process after potential misconduct is discovered. An investigation can be launched if information is found that confirms or suggests wrongdoing in the process of obtaining the degree. Graduates will have the option to come to an agreement to possibly voluntarily give up the degree, or a formal investigation and hearing will be launched.

After the launch of the investigation, the graduate in question will be notified in writing of the investigation and the information used to make the decision. The information from the investigation will be summarized and given to the dean of the school that conferred the degree, who will make the final decision on whether to move forward into a hearing.”

Whether the school would yank Trump’s degree is uncertain, but they would certainly be under a lot of pressure to do so if an investigation determines Trump cheated his way into Wharton.

And it certainly seems like cheating is what Trump had to do since a former professor once called him the “dumbest goddamn student I ever had.”
