As The COVID-19 Death Toll In The US Nears 13K, Trump Goes On Twitter To Brag About His Ratings Once Again

What a POS.

Donald Trump is once again showing us what his priorities are during the massive coronavirus outbreak that has halted our economy and changed our lives drastically. The failed frozen steak salesman also inadvertently admitted what we all were aware of:  Trump’s daily COVID-19 daily briefings are MAGA  rallies. As of now, we’re right on the edge of hitting over thirteen thousand deaths in the United States from the disease that he previously denied, and even mocked.

Trump is whining on Twitter because some Democrats have been calling on news networks to cease from airing his coronavirus press conferences live because of the repeated lies and disinformation he offers up to a panic-stricken nation.

“The Radical Left Democrats have gone absolutely crazy that I am doing daily Presidential News Conferences,” Trump tweeted. “They actually want me to STOP! They used to complain that I am not doing enough of them, now they complain that I ‘shouldn’t be allowed to do them.'”

But have you heard about his ratings? That’s the important thing, apparently.

“They tried to shame the Fake News Media into not covering them, but that effort failed because the ratings are through the roof according to, of all sources, the Failing New York Times, “Monday Night Football, Bachelor Finale” type numbers (& sadly, they get it $FREE),” he continued. “Trump Derangement Syndrome!”

If Trump’s braggadocious tweets sound vaguely familiar, there’s a reason for that. Just last week, the president bragged about the number of people following him on Facebook.

“Did you know I was number one on Facebook?” Trump said. “I just found out I’m number one on Facebook. I thought that was very nice, for whatever it means.”

Well, I hate to burst his bubble, but former President Barack Obama has more followers on Facebook than he does, but you’ll never hear Trump’s predecessor bragging about that — especially to a grieving nation.
