About

Political Tribune is a news source focused on high-quality reporting, analysis, opinion, and truth. We bring you up-to-the-minute news on politics and occasionally a look back at past events when they fit the context of today.

Based in Atlanta, Louisville, Raleigh, and Seattle, our team brings the experience of years of news analysis in a format that is most comfortable for readers who don’t expect to be tiptoed around the way many outlets do — we’re not here to call lies “misstatements.”

Atlanta: Sheila is the Editor In Chief Of Political Tribune. Her love for politics started only 5 years ago but has since become one of her greatest passions. She’s been a writer, broadcaster, political contributor, and now proudly considers herself part of the Resistance. Unshakeable. Believer in human rights, equality, and justice for all, but first for those who need it most. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, working out and watching football. The real kind, with helmets.

Louisville: Andrea is the primary writer for Political Tribune. She’s been at this for four years and is an activist, feminist, and mom to a feminist in training. She’s passionate about women’s rights and reproductive rights. She’s hit the streets in marches and walks because as a Kentucky resident she is an avid Mitch McConnell hater. This right here is her ditching the medical field for a life in the political field.

Raleigh: Conover is the newest to the team, but a seasoned veteran in the political field. She’s been writing for about 10 years now, and in 2010 she somehow found herself investigating a group of conservative miscreants for six months. The article on that investigation was picked up by major publications in the U.S. and overseas. From there, she decided to continue her reign of terror and has written for quite a few sites. She likes jumping out of planes and plans to jump in every state. Stealing confederate flags makes her happy.

Seattle: Andrew is the managing editor and contributing writer for Political Tribune. He’s been writing politics for 15 years and an activist for 20, managing successful local and state campaigns, organizing, marching, and doorbelling. Three kids, beautiful wife. History/geography buff. Mostly uses his powers for good, although you can sometimes catch him trolling racists and sexists on the internet. Probably eating a cheeseburger right now.
